Interview with Cliff by Call Center Magazine

I will be speaking at the upcoming Call Center Demo and Conference to be held in Miami from Feb 21 to 23, 2007. It was flattering to learn that I was selected as one of 56 speakers from among 1100 who applied. My presentation will be entitled " Make it a Career and They'll Act Like Pros".  It continues a theme that I began in my first book, "A Career for the 21st Century." Call Centers are a Global Function

Today is Friday, December 15th. I am soon on my way to Dubai, United Arab Emirates to conduct four days of call center management training there. This is my first trip ever to the Middle East and I am looking forward to it. As I was packing my suitcase this morning, I reminisced fondly about other work I've done internationally with call centers in Hong Kong, Australia, United Kingdom, and all over the US and Canada. Preparing for this trip has reminded me what a truly global function of business call centers are. It really is a small world and those of us fortunate enough to work in call centers share more in common across the globe than we have differences in culture, language, or national origin.
